唐记茶楼继1998年在马六甲设立后，首次将分店扩展至雪州。当初开创唐记茶楼是因为唐记品牌创办人李威城本人是一位很喜欢吃且保留古早味美食的人，希望借助唐记的扩展，发扬大马美食。唐记茶楼是一家售卖古早味传统美食为主的餐厅。菜单上的餐饮种类玲琅满目，除了售卖各种类面包、西餐、上汤、炒粉及点心等，李威城更向大家极力推荐唐记的3款招牌美食即菠萝包、槟城虾面及咖啡冰。
